Some words on being handmade

All my carved birds are individually handmade by me only and not factory manufactured.  Although I try to make them as similar as possible to match the pictures on the website, they remain individuals. I would hope this is a ‘good thing’.

I accept (and often welcome) a certain amount of variation especially in the colouring. Sometimes the variation comes from the mixing of the paint on the day, the previous painting session may have taken place months before.

Be assured that I don’t send anything out that I am unhappy with. If I improve or change something I will try to update the photos on the website to reflect the improvement.

If I’m not happy with something it goes into the bin or my ‘A&E’ drawer for later resuscitation.
